Freisenbruch Insurance Launches Independent Benefits Advisory Practice

The new practice is led by Michelle Jackson, Head of Benefits Advisory

Freisenbruch Insurance Services Ltd. has launched Benefits Advisory, a new practice offering independent advisory and broking services across group health, life, disability, and pension programs for Bermuda employers.

Bermuda employers face rising costs and increasing complexity in managing employee benefit programs in a limited market.  Freisenbruch established a Benefits Advisory service to address this gap by providing independent advice. The service acts solely as an advocate for employers, negotiating directly with health insurers to evaluate plan performance and ensure that all recommendations are aligned with the best interests of the organization and its employees.

The new practice is led by Michelle Jackson, Head of Benefits Advisory, who brings more than 20 years of experience in Bermuda’s employee benefits industry. Designed as a client‑centric solution, Benefits Advisory supports employers throughout the full lifecycle of their benefit programs from plan design and procurement to ongoing management and governance. Services include market benchmarking, plan design reviews, renewal management, insurer negotiations, broking, regulatory compliance, and ongoing performance monitoring.

Patrick Neal, Chief Executive Officer of Freisenbruch Insurance Services Ltd., said:

“We are very pleased to welcome Michelle Jackson as our new Head of Benefits Advisory to lead this important expansion of our services. Michelle brings deep expertise across group health, group life, and disability insurance. Her knowledge of the market, combined with her strategic insight, will be invaluable as we grow this advisory capability. With her guidance, we are confident our clients will benefit from high-quality, independent, and compliant advice that helps them design and manage benefit programs that truly support their employees. Freisenbruch aims to give employers greater confidence that their benefit programs are well designed, effectively managed, and positioned to meet both current and future demands.”
